Pricing, shipping and returns

Pricing

All prices on our website are in Australian dollars, and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.

If you are ordering from outside of Australia, the GST on your order will be removed at checkout.

Shipping

For orders within Australia, there is a flat shipping fee of $7.95 per order for orders under $40. Shipping is free for orders of $40 or more.

For international orders, a flat fee of $50 applies for orders up to 2kg in weight. Additional fees may apply for parcels of more than 2kg – our customer service team reviews all international orders and will contact you before processing if higher shipping fees apply. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your order or obtain a shipping quote.

You will receive a dispatch email with your tracking number when your order is on its way to you.

The Bookshop by MultiLit does not take responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged parcels. In the event a parcel is returned to us, due to incorrect shipping details or the delivery going unclaimed, we will notify the customer via email and arrange an invoice for another shipment.

Returns

An item may be returned for a refund within 30 days of purchase if we received it in as-new condition. The refund will be for the value of the item returned only (not shipping costs), and the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs they may incur. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the item is adequately protected in transit.

If a product or service you buy from us fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. The remedy you’re entitled to will depend on whether the issue is major or minor.

To begin the process of return, please contact us within seven days of receiving your order with your order number. We will not accept returns without an order number.
